Global response is an American non-profit organization situated in Colorado, United States. It describes itself as an education network which takes environmental action. This action consists in letter-writing campaigns to help communities stop environmental destruction.

Whereas the topicality has become increasingly important with regard to the state of the ecological environment, many pollutions still are to be numbered.
Moreover, with a lack of scientific studies on the atmosphere, climatic disturbances seem to be directly attached to human activity. Lastly the idea of sustainable development is fashioned but is not concretised.

I feel very concerned by environment issues because finally we always are the first addressees of human actions on the natural environment. So for me this assignment represents a means of involving other people who live on our earth.

As the site's entry, the Front page gives an important place to self-promotion by introducing a current campaign. So all the pages have a link which enable the reader to take part in Global Response's action.
Logically the colour which symbolizes nature for the most people, the colour green, dominates the graphic charter.

The site was built with a two-level arborescence. On the home page, the five headers hide an down-scrolling list, which in total represents twenty-six links in the down-scrolling lists.
The current campaign and the fourteen ongoing ones dealt by Global Response are presented at first. We can remark the presence of a list of links which present main headers which are equally in the arborescence, maybe the most visited pages, and the presence of a research engine too.
The last two links enable children (kids and teenagers) to access a part of the site made for them. This enables Global Action to address to a wider population. With no doubt the objective of this part of the site answers the education activity of the organization.

Global Response is interested in all kinds of ecological destructions, like marine and terrestrial damage against some human communities and wildlife, as we can see on their Ongoing Campaigns page. So the field of action of the organization is wide. For it there seem to be no specific field: its action is global, as the title itself expresses.

Positive points
In spite of the large size of the site, the reader is driven by the clear structure of the whole. No play on words leads the reader to go astray. Moreover at every moment the reader can decide to get involved for the organization: some links are present on nearly all the pages of the site.
No structural default is become aware by the reader. For the importance of the contents, the he or she benefits from the permanent research engine.
ii.
Negative points
Concerning the form, I find that the quality of the site is optimum. Some critics might be expressed if I knew another site which cares for the same issues by the same means as Global Response.
The paradox is that the organization informs us about very numerous ecologist web-sites. These are classified with regard to their speciality within environmental action. Some global sites exist too. However Global Response seems to be the best built.

The contents are developed, detailed and clearly written. The given information is relatively exhausted.

The fact that the sources of the received information are not mentioned impeaches the reader to grant immediately the serious sense of the contents.
The authors could be simply mentioned so that the information is accredited. The reader's desire to involve at Global Response is threatened here.

Concerning the Form/Contents articulation, nothing seems to shock the reader. In this case again the quality of the site does not enable us to obtain a general vision of the articulation to be given to such an issue.

Such an information support could not morally be dumped. Its high quality “pleads “for it. Concerning its form, for me it represents the best site that cares for environmental issues.

Should it be retained
My opinion is that this site is going to become one of the major sites in the course of the next decade. With regard to the environmental actuality, Global Response should of course be retained.
